The Chesaning Area Historical Society and Museum is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to preserve, discover and memorialize the history of Chesaning and the surrounding area. Our wonderful little museum is a local treasure and we love to have guests – children’s groups, local clubs and civic organizations, and especially you.

Private Philip Volkmer (1831-1908) was a Chesaning pioneer who served in the Union Army during the Civil War.
